• Account data: Your email address, full name, and role (artist or client).
• Profile data: Phone number, bio/style preferences, avatar photo, and reference photos you choose to upload.
• Tattoo healing data: Session details (tattoo description, body placement, style, date), healing progress photos, check-in notes, and artist assessments.
• Booking data: Requested appointment dates/times, tattoo descriptions, and contact details provided during booking.
• Portfolio data: Photos of healed tattoo work you choose to showcase publicly.

• Tracking and managing tattoo healing progress over time.
• Scheduling and managing appointments between artists and clients.
• Sharing portfolio work via public, token-based links (only when you choose to share).
• Sending email notifications about booking requests, appointment confirmations, and deposit requests.
• Providing AI-assisted healing analysis of submitted check-in photos.

• Hosting & infrastructure: TatCare is hosted on the Base44 platform, which provides secure data storage, authentication, and application hosting for your account information, session records, and healing photos.
• AI healing analysis: Check-in photos may be analyzed by AI models to generate informational healing insights. These analyses are produced by third-party AI providers and are advisory only — not medical advice.
• Email delivery: Transactional emails (booking requests, appointment confirmations, deposit requests, and reminders) are delivered through our email service provider.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

• Artist access: If you are a client, your linked tattoo artist can view your healing photos, session details, and check-in history to provide aftercare guidance.
• Public portfolio: Healed tattoo photos may be shared via a unique token link. Only photos you explicitly add to your portfolio are shared — no personal client information is included.
• Public booking: Booking links are token-based and only accessible to people you share the link with.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — including clients, tattoo sessions, check-ins, reminders, portfolio items, appointments, and availability settings — at any time via Settings → Delete Forever. This action cannot be undone.

• Access: You can view all your data within the app at any time.
• Modify: You can edit your profile, session details, and portfolio items.
• Delete: You can delete your account and all associated data via Settings.

TatCare is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Tattoo services require legal age and consent. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

• Row-level security (RLS) ensures users can only access data they own or are authorized to see.
• All data access requires authentication, except for public token-based links you explicitly share.
• Data is stored on encrypted, secured infrastructure.
• Public links use cryptographically secure tokens to prevent unauthorized access.
